The European Society of Aerospace Medicine’s Academy organizes an Advanced Aeromedical Examiners (AME) Course from 28 September to 21 October, 2022
We offer 42 hours of online lectures combined with 24 hours of practical training at the Norwegian Institute of Aviation Medicine in Oslo.
The online lectures start on 28 September 2022 and will be held each Wednesday and Friday (3 hours - late afternoon), Saturday (6 hours), and Sunday (4 hours). Sufficient breaks will be provided. Sunday 16 October is left free for travel to Oslo. The practical training will be given from Monday 17 till Friday 21 October 2022 and will be concluded with a written examination.
The course is designed to meet the EASA requirements, as stated in the Implementing Regulation EU 2019/27 (including the requirements in the Acceptable Means of Compliance and Guidance Material to Part MED, issue 2, 2019). An application for approval of the course and recognition of the diploma will be submitted to the Chief Medical Officer of the Norwegian CAA.
Entry requirements
1. Medical degree;
2. Successful completion (diploma) of the Basic AME course;
3. Sufficient English language skills to participate in this course;

Registration will start on 01 May 2022 at 12:00 noon (CET). Participation of the course will be granted on a first come, first served basis. Only participants who have paid the course fee within two weeks after registration will be accepted for the course.
The course fee is € 1800. Travel and accommodation costs related to the practical training in Oslo are at one’s own account.
